We are currently seeking an experienced, professional Fuel and Lube Technician. This permanent and full time position is based at the Touquoy mine site located approximately 1-hour northeast of Halifax, near Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia. The mine is fully permitted and began production in fall 2017. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide fuel and lubrication to mobile mining equipment and support mobile maintenance by completing preventative maintenance services and other associated maintenance tasks. The Opportunity Perform fuel, oil, lubricant and filter service on all assigned equipment Maintain and review fuel and lubrication reports and service reports Inspect equipment conditions (for wear, alignment, function) Report equipment conditions to appropriate personnel Ensure that all equipment lubrication tasks are performed accurately to the manufacturer standards Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments Apply general failure analysis and procedures to determine proper diagnosis Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations About You The successful candidate will have a personal commitment to behavior consistent with St Barbara's Values including honesty and integrity, respect, working together, delivering to promise and striving to do better.
