Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have or be eligible to hold a PEI Teacher's License; Library Diploma and/or considerable experience in Library;Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues;Strong classroom management skills, knowledge of effective teaching strategies and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaborative practices;Commitment to the school community, and demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning.The following would be considered assets: Experience at the Elementary grade levels;Experience with IEP’s and Running Records;Knowledge and experience with modifications to curriculum;Experience with EAL school and families;Knowledge of school level curriculum;Knowledge of effective assessment strategies.Note: Please ensure the application clearly demonstrates how you meet the noted qualifications as applicants are screened based on the information provided.
