Residential Construction Project Coordinator - Pluspuu Homes

Position Overview:

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Residential Construction Project Coordinator to oversee and manage the coordination of residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in modular home construction and/or log home construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

You must have recent residential construction experience. ICI experience is not considered relevant for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, site supervisors and engineers to finalize project plans and specifications.
  • Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to all construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Construction Oversight:
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Schedule inspections and manage quality control throughout the construction process.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Vendor and Material Management:
  • Procure materials and ensure timely delivery to meet project milestones.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality resources.
  • Client Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
  • Ensure client expectations are met or exceeded through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, permits, schedules, and expenses.
  • Prepare project reports and documentation for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a project coordinator, manager, or similar role in residential construction.
  • Preferred experience in modular home construction and/or log home construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, ideally Smart Sheet and Bluebeam
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client and team relationships.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings/take-offs (Bluebeam)
  • Familiarity with local building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with unique residential construction systems such as modular or log homes.
  • Familiarity with eco-friendly building practices and sustainable materials.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field is a plus but not required.

Pay: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
