Job Description
We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in veterinary care, and at least 2 years of experience caring for animals. The candidate must possess a high degree of integrity; effective communication skills; problem solving ability and social intelligence.
This position involves: Checking in and checking out kitties, cleaning cat suites, feeding cats, administering medication on occasion, and monitoring the health of the kitties while in our care. This position is physically demanding and can be fast paced at times. The work hours are between 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and evening shifts are available.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 28 per week
Salary: $25.00-$27.50 per hour
